Google says that the latest functionality would be available in 42 languages.
All of these features are aligned with Google's strong intention to become for all purposes the go-to place for everyone.Google is nowhere with one another unique feature it had announced in January at CES 2020. After a brief introduction at the CES 2020, the tech giant has launched the much-anticipated ' read-out ' feature on Google's assistant.
The' read it' functionality will allow Android owners to make the most of Google Assistant's features in listening to web page content. The new update will run on all of Google's platforms and applications like the Chrome web browser, Google Search, or the News app. With a quick command to the assistant, users will get to listen to their liking in the content of the web page. In order to use the feature, users will have to call assistants with commands like "Hey Google, read aloud," "Hey Google, read it" or "Hey Google, read this page" The Google Assistant will then read the text of the opened webpages aloud in just one go.
For the feature, the company uses technology such as natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence (AI) speech synthesis.
Although Google says this function relies on AI algorithms to decide which part of the webpage it will reach, it can also tell you it will not be able to read a page either. "Read it" present blog posts, blogs, and other such content are meant to be read on the internet. The Google Assistant also automatically skips links, buttons, and menus on the webpage to concentrate only on the content the user wishes to be read.
What it's not doing right now is appropriate mistakes in the source material. And, if an article has a typo, the Google Assistant would obviously read the typo the way it's written, rather than finding out it's an error. Users could also boost the reading speed, ensuring that the page will be read more easily, and Google provides developers with ways to get the Google Assistant to read their apps too.

This may be helpful for websites that have sensitive & confidential pieces of information, websites of government, etc.
Google's according, to while an internet data or WiFi connectivity on your phone is needed for the feature, will also run on 2G networks. "It's also using low internet data," written by a company in a blog post.
Language, a no-barrier to this Google's new feature
Google says the newly introduced function will be available in 42 languages. The lists of languages that will support the' Readit' function including Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Sinhalese, Tamil, and Telugu. The translation menu will also be provided for the users to allow the feature in their preferred language. The site that the users are asked to read will be immediately translated and will be read by the Google Assistant in their chosen language for the users.
Google has focused in recent months to improve the experience for users and the new addition to the Google Assistant features is the recent example of Google's attempts to lead the way in enhancing user experience. Each of these features is aligned with Google's strong intention to become for both purposes the go-to site for everyone.
