• If you can't see the dark mode option in the WhatsApp application on your smartphone, make sure you have the new version of the application.

• If your Android version 10 smartphone already has the system-in built dark mode on, WhatsApp will turn on to the dark mode automatically.

 Finally, after one year, the famous WhatsApp social messenger app has launched its dark-theme feature recently for iPhone and Android devices. Owned by Facebook, the messenger application had long been working on the dark theme feature, launched a slew of Android Beta versions for Android in that process.
"This mode is designed to prevent your eyes from being stressed if you use your phone in low light. It is expected, it will also relieve you from those conditions when the screen lights up in the entire room as soon as you turn on your phone," the company wrote in a recent blog article.

How to activate WhatsApp's dark theme mode on Android phones: The dark theme is slowly rolled out to all and if you can't see the feature yet, just install the latest version from the Google Play Store of WhatsApp.

Once you download and install the newest version of the application, then follow these steps: If your Android version 10 or iPhone 13 upgraded phones have the already system-wide dark theme enabled, WhatsApp will turn to the dark theme automatically.

if you're Android version 9 or user of the lower version, then just go to WhatsApp Settings menu and then manually activate the dark mode:

Tap on top right corner three dots
-then go to settings
-tap Chats option
-then under Display 
-Click the theme option
-then choose dark
-then OK
